*Only one in 13 people feel confident they could carry out first aid on those ill and injured.
Having the knowledge and skills to be able to deal with an emergency situation can provide confidence, peace of mind and can ultimately save lives.
We expect childcare providers to be fully qualified in providing paediatric first aid; but what about when we are looking after our own children? What do we expect when we ask friends or family to look after our little ones? Would they know what to do should the worst happen? Would they be able to act quickly and administer first aid? I was asking myself these questions and it was from here that ‘Little Lambs First Aid’ was born.
In order to deliver the best training I have researched and attended numerous first aid courses throughout the Northwest. I have become an accredited trainer with the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (EAT) and I am fully qualified in delivering first aid training, specialising in paediatric first aid. I have a background in biological sciences (Master of Science MSc) and first-hand experience of being a mum of two little ones myself. Little Lambs First Aid courses are informative, accessible, professional, and personable.
I not only work in the first aid industry, but I have a passion to improve people’s paediatric first aid skills. Little Lambs First Aid gives people the knowledge and confidence in knowing what to do when caring for little ones should something happen. It is our job as parents to protect our children. Little Lambs’ aim is to make your home the safest place it can be for your children. Everyone has the potential to save a life, we just need to be taught how.
